You have to have been around in a certain time and place to remember Pink Lady, a Japanese Pop duo who achieved superstar status in thier homeland in the late 70s.

In a move typical of the era, Pink Lady was given the "Donny &Marie" treatement in the U.S. with an abysmal and short lived variety series called "Pink Lady & Jeff" produced by Sid & Marty Krofft.
